GSC Wind Sim DIY Module – high amp server fan compatible.

Build your wind sim your way with the GSC Wind Sim DIY Module. We designed this module around a simple idea: the electronics shouldn’t lock you into one particular fan. The same platform can support anything from a balanced, everyday wind setup to a much more aggressive high-performance configuration simply by changing the fans and matching the appropriate fuse.

Our CORE configuration uses standard 120mm PC-style fans and is intended for sim racers looking for a good balance of airflow, cooling, noise, and power consumption. With our recommended fans, the CORE setup produces approximately 66 CFM per fan, making it a great option for desktop rigs, compact cockpits, foldable setups, and anyone who wants noticeable wind immersion without needing extreme airflow.
For racers who want substantially more, the PRO configuration uses high-performance 120 × 38mm server-style fans. Our recommended PRO fans can produce approximately 220 CFM per fan, creating a much stronger sensation of speed and airflow. These fans require more power and produce more noise than the CORE setup, but they’re intended for users who prioritize maximum immersion.
The important part is that CORE and PRO use the same GSC Wind Sim DIY Module. You can start with a quieter CORE setup and upgrade later, go straight to PRO, or experiment with your own compatible PWM fans. The module uses a replaceable 5 × 20mm glass fuse, allowing the protection to be matched appropriately to the fan configuration being used.

The module is designed for use with Sim Hub, making it a great foundation for DIY wind simulators, VR racing setups, desktop rigs, foldable cockpits, and full-size sim racing builds. Whether you’re building your first wind simulator or upgrading an existing setup, the goal is to give you a simple, modular platform without forcing you into one specific configuration.
